Partial cast... beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers. Cameras roll today. Follow me on Twitter for updates. Wish us luck. pic.twitter.com/vYGgGesW0Y— Shane Black (@BonafideBlack) February 20, 2017
Lined up from left to right are Sterling K. Brown (American Crime Story) who is set to play a government agent, Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) as a military officer and fellow veteran to Boyd Holbrook's (Narcos) Quinn McKenna, Jacob Tremblay (Room) as Holbrook's son, Olivia Munn (Mortdecai) as Casey Bracket and Keegan-Michael Key (Let's Be Cops) as another military type. It is certainly quite a line-up, and this isn't even the full main cast.
Black has also used social media to assure those waiting to watch this one that it won't skimp on the violence or claret. "Just to be clear," he wrote, "PG-13 is for pusses. Spines bleed.... A lot." Which disturbingly makes it sounds like he has had some personal experience with that. Hopefully just of the prosthetic variety.
We are promised more from Black as the shoot progresses, and The Predator will be hunting down UK cinemas on 16 February next year.
