With returning leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard anchoring the cast, the ensemble for the Jurassic World (2015) sequel is growing faster than a genetically engineered embryo. News arrives via Variety that Ted Levine (Shutter Island) is the latest addition to the team.
Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible) is the man calling the shots, working from a script by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow and regular writing partner Derek Connolly.
While nothing has been announced about what happens, we can presume there will be plenty of fresh dinosaur chaos and a new message about man messing with nature. Levine, who is still perhaps best known for playing Buffalo Bill in Silence Of The Lambs (1991), is playing a mystery new character alongside fellow recruits Rafe Spall (Prometheus), Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), Daniella Pineda (The Detour) and Justice Smith (The Get Down).
Production will get underway this year, and the new movie is set to stomp in on 8 June next year.
