"Put that cookie down! Cookies are for closers."

20th Century Fox have recently released their latest trailer and one sheet for Tom McGrath's (Madagascar) The Boss Baby.

Our main protagonist here is Tim, a seven-year-old with a big imagination and a happy life with his mother (Lisa Kudrow) and father (Jimmy Kimmel). He is therefore none too pleased when his parents bring home a new baby brother, and don't seem to notice that the infant is wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase.

Looking to win back his parents' affection, the older kid discovers a secret plot by the CEO of Puppy Co. that threatens to destroy the balance of love in the world. It turns out that the brash baby executive (Alec Baldwin), who has finagled his way into the family like a cuckoo, is the focus of the plan – and the brothers will have to work together to stop the scheme and prove love is an infinite force.

Hopefully there will be some good gags before the inevitable message about getting along, and we certainly have faith in Madagascar director Tom McGrath.

The Boss Baby will be heading into UK cinemas 7 April.
