New look at Martin Scorsese's Silence arrives online

Paramount Pictures have recently released a fresh batch of images from Martin Scorsese's (The Wolf Of Wall Street) Silence.

Adapted by Jay Cocks (Gangs Of New York) from Shûsaku Endô's novel, Silence has been a passion project of the director's for over thirty years. It follows two Jesuit missionaries – Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider- Man) and Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) – who go looking for their mentor (Liam Neeson) in 17th century Nagasaki, Japan, and encounter violent persecution.

Silence is out in cinemas now.
