Key to the image is our first proper look at how Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) will appear as Han himself, and there is certainly something of the smuggler about him. Also shown here are Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games), British actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge – who is set to play a digitally created character – Emilia Clarke (Game Of Thrones), Joonas Suotamoas (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Chewbacca, Donald Glover (The Martian) as Lando and directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The Lego Movie). The one person from the announced cast not shown is Thandie Newton (The Pursuit Of Happyness).
"Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous," Lord and Miller say in a statement. "We can't think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky."
