"I pray but I am lost. Am I just praying to silence?"

Paramount Pictures have recently released their first trailer for Martin Scorsese's (The Wolf Of Wall Street) Silence.

Adapted by Jay Cocks (Gangs Of New York) from Shûsaku Endô's novel, Silence has been a passion project of the director's for over thirty years. It follows two Jesuit missionaries – Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider- Man) and Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) – who go looking for their mentor (Liam Neeson) in 17th century Nagasaki, Japan, and encounter violent persecution.

Silence is out in cinemas now.
