Warner Bros have recently released their trailer for the Extended Cut release of David Ayer's Suicide Squad.
Grossing $745 million worldwide, Suicide Squad was a hit beyond the dreams of even the DC brains trust. If you didn't catch it in cinemas, Ayer's blockbuster finds a ragtag team of villains and anti-heroes coerced by shadowy government forces into completing hazardous missions with the lure of pardons or reduced punishments.
Alongside Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) as The Joker, Margot Robbie (The Wolf Of Wall Street) as Harley Quinn and Will Smith (I Am Legend) as Deadshot, are Adam Beach (Flags Of Our Fathers) as Slipknot, Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher) as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina) as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop) as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Thor: The Dark World) as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez (Hostel) as El Diablo, Scott Eastwood (Fury) as Steve Trevor and Jim Parrack (Fury) as Jonny Frost and Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors) as Captain Griggs.
There is not a whole lot of new footage in evidence here, although Warner Bros have confirmed an additional 13 minutes in the Extended Cut.
Suicide Squad Extended Cut is available on Blu-ray and digital download now and you can read our review right here.
