Two new one sheets for Gimme Danger arrive online

Dogwoof Pictures have recently released two new one sheets for Jim Jarmusch's (Only Lovers Left Alive) documentary Gimme Danger, which takes an in-depth look at the legendary punk band, The Stooges.

Emerging from Ann Arbor in Michigan amidst a countercultural revolution, The Stooges' powerful and aggressive style of rock and roll blew a crater in the musical landscape of the late 1960s. Assaulting audiences with a blend of rock, blues, R&B, and free jazz, the band planted the seeds for what would be called punk and alternative rock in the decades that followed.

Jarmusch's documentary chronicles the story of The Stooges emergence and relates their adventures and misadventures while charting their inspirations and the reasons behind their initial commercial challenges, as well as their long lasting legacy.

Gimme Danger is out in the US now and arrives in the UK on 18 November.
