Universal Playback have recently released their first trailer and one sheet for Benjamin Turner and Gabe Turner's (The Class Of '92) Usain Bolt documentary I Am Bolt.
There is every chance that I Am Bolt won't be a hard hitting, warts and all portrayal of the world's fastest man. In fact, judging by this new trailer, it is more likely to be an extended bathe in the mellow greatness of the nine time Olympic gold medallist.
The handiwork of The Class Of '92 (2013) and One Direction: This Is Us (2013) pair Gabe and Ben Turner, I Am Bolt benefits from incredible access to its subject, Jamaica's greatest ever Olympian. He has won more medals, struck more poses and been far cooler than most other athletes since he broke through at the Beijing Summer Olympics.
The film marries up footage from the London and Rio Olympics and the Beijing World Championships with archive clips from his younger days and interviews with those who know him best.
Says the man himself: "My aim with making this film is to show people how my life really is... What I've been through to get me where I am today, the ups and the downs, and an insight into what I am thinking and feeling. I know a lot of people around the world feel like they know me already but I'm excited for everyone to see the real me."
I Am Bolt will sprint into cinemas on 28 November.
