Daniel Radcliffe set to play a pilot in Beast Of Burden

In his continued efforts to stretch his acting muscles and find challenging roles to play, Daniel Radcliffe (Kill Your Darlings) has decided to start smuggling drugs. But only on a fictional basis, as news arrives via The Hollywood Reporter that he set to play a narcotics running pilot in new action thriller Beast Of Burden.

Swedish director Jesper Ganslandt (Falkenberg Farewell) will be handling this one, which has a script from Adam Hoelzel (Amelia's Canon). Beast Of Burden will find Radcliffe's flyer transporting drugs across the border between Mexico and the US who has to somehow evade both the DEA and the Cartels over the course of one day. Naturally, you have got to think that something somewhere will go wrong.

The movie marks Ganslandt's English-language debut and marks just the latest in a different choice of parts for Radcliffe. He is currently on screens in Imperium and will also show up in action adventure movie Jungle, which has yet to secure a UK release yet.
