News arrives via Deadline that Vincent D'Onofrio (Jurassic World) and Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) have joined Bruce Willis (Looper) for the upcoming Death Wish remake.
Horror specialist Eli Roth (Hostel) is behind this new take on Michael Winner's classic 1974 thriller, which originally starred Charles Bronson as a grieving father turned murderous vigilante.
Deadline reports that Willis is in the Bronson role here, while D'Onofrio will play his brother. Norris, meanwhile, will play a detective investigating the brutal killings.
The film will mark the first non-horror movie for Roth, who made his name with Cabin Fever (2002) and has since largely stayed in that genre as a director.
Filming is due to begin this month in Montreal and Chicago, with a 2017 release date likely.
