Dean Devlin (Leverage) is switching from the epic disaster thrillers he has been known for in the past to something a little more low key. He already has David Tennant (Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire) aboard crime story Bad Samaritan and now news arrives via The Hollywood Reporter that Robert Sheehan (Cherrybomb) is set to join him.
Written by Brandon Boyce (Apt Pupil), Samaritan finds two young car valets (we assume Sheehan will be one of them) who have a criminal sideline to their mundane parking duties – they use the business as a front to steal from their rich patrons while they are out. Unfortunately for them, they just picked the wrong house to rob...
It is not yet known whether Tennant will be a threat in the movie, though given his recent history with Jessica Jones, we know he can certainly bring the menace in a big way when needed. The movie will start shooting in Oregon later this year.
This won't be Sheehan's first run- around with Devlin, as he is part of the cast for the producer and director's Geostorm, due to arrive in cinemas 20 October 2017.
