IFC Films have recently released their latest one sheet for Derrick Borte's (The Joneses) London Town.
Written by Kirsten Sheridan (In America), Sonya Gildea and Matthew Brown, London Town follows 14-year-old Shay (Daniel Huttlestone) whose life is changed forever when his estranged mother (Natascha McElhone) introduces him to the music of the Clash. It is a revelation that opens a new world of social consciousness and anti-establishment defiance beyond anything he has known in his dead end London suburb. Drawn into the heart of the city's burgeoning punk scene, he forges two relationships that will change his life, falling in love with rebellious cool girl Vivian (Nell Williams) and finding an unexpected connection with none other than The Clash's electrifying frontman, Joe Strummer (Jonathan Rhys Meyers).
Natascha McElhone (Californication), Tom Hughes (About Times), Dougray Scott and Kerry Howard (I Give It A Year) are also in the cast.
London Town played at the London Film Festival earlier this month but has yet to find a general release date.
