Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick explain Trolls in a new featurette

20th Century Fox have recently released a new featurette for Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) and Walt Dohrn's (SpongeBob SquarePants) Trolls.

DreamWorks Animation's latest colourful cartoon Trolls finds Justin Timberlake (The Social Network) and Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect) lending their vocal talents (both spoken and singing) to the colourful critters, with Timberlake as Branch, a gloomy, isolated member of the community, who is endlessly annoyed by the perky Poppy (Kendrick), a young woman prone to starting sing-alongs and generally being far too happy for his liking.

But when the Bergens – creatures who consider the Trolls to be a delicacy – swipe almost everyone else, it is up to Branch and Poppy to rescue them. Will a bond form between them along the way?

With likes of James Corden (Begin Again), Kunal Nayar (The Big Bang Theory), Gwen Stefani (The Aviator) and Russell Brand (Get Him To The Greek) also in the cast, Trolls is set to arrive in cinemas 21 October.
