Rose Leslie set to star in Haunted

It was announced recently that Alfre Woodard (Annabelle) will be starring in gothic ghost story Haunted. Now we know at least one person who will joining her in the cast, as news arrives via Deadline that Rose Leslie (Game Of Thrones) has signed on to play the lead.

Loosely based on Henry James' Turn Of The Screw, the film will see a young woman (Leslie) arriving to work at a wealthy estate, but who soon starts to believe that the house is haunted. And things take a turn for the creepier when she starts to suspect that the children in her care are possessed. As for Woodard, all we know about her character so far is that she will be someone who already works at the mansion.

This one comes from a team with serious horror credentials, including director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) and Conjuring (2013) writers Chad and Carey Hayes.

Leslie, who tackled terror with Honeymoon (2014), is currently on our screens in science fiction thriller Morgan.
