New banner for Transformers: The Last Knight

Paramount Pictures have recently released their first banner for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age Of Extinction (2014) follow-up Transformers: The Last Knight.

After battling dinobots in Transformers: Age Of Extinction, the new banner appears to tease a new spiky foe for our favourite Autobot. Transformers lore had Megatron transform into a dragon, and, if the number of beasts on this poster is anything to go by, Transformers: The Last Knight could potentially include the three-headed dinobot Scourge, as seen in the Cybertron animated series. Time will of course tell.

With little currently known about the fifth instalment's plot, we do know that Transformers: The Last Knight will see Laura Haddock (Da Vinci's Demons), Jean Dujardin (The Artist) and Anthony Hopkins (Hitchcock) join Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager and franchise mainstays Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson.

With Michael Bay back in the driving seat, the Bayhem will this time be written by three scriptwriters entirely new to the franchise – Matt Holloway and Art Marcum (Iron Man), and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down).

Transformers: The Last Knight will explode into cinemas on 23 June 2017.
