"What're you gonna do, take on two evil sisters and their entire army?"

Universal Pictures have just released their latest trailer for Cedric Nicolas-Troyan's The Huntsman: Winter's War.

Chris Hemsworth is back for the film which is set years before Kristen Stewart's Snow White challenges the the Ravenna (Charlize Theron), and begins when Ravenna's sister Freya (Emily Blunt) flees the kingdom after suffering a heart breaking betrayal. The young ice queen, blessed with the ability to freeze any enemy, has spent decades in a remote, snowy palace, where she has been busy raising a legion of deadly huntsmen including Eric and Sara (Jessica Chastain), her top warriors. But despite her demand that her soldiers forswear love, the prime pair have been unable to deny their feelings. Angered, she returns to the kingdom (we can assume the film becomes a sequel at this point, given where the plot goes from here), raises her sister from the Magic Mirror's golden depths and together the sisters threaten the world with twice the dark magic.

The Huntsman: Winter's War will arrive on 22 April and features Snow White And The Huntsman (2012) veterans Sam Claflin and Nick Frost, alongside new arrivals Sheridan Smith (Hysteria), Colin Morgan (Legend), Sam Hazeldine (The Raven) and Sophie Cookson (Kingsman: The Secret Service).
