New one sheet for Green Room arrives online

Altitude Film Entertainment have recently released their latest one sheet for Jeremy Saulnier's (Blue Ruin) Green Room.

If you caught Jeremy Saulnier's Blue Ruin (2013), you will be all too aware of his ability to seamlessly thread together a knotty thriller that marries violent shocks and comic beats. His latest film, Oregon roadhouse thriller Green Room, certainly looks to channel all Saulnier's directorial hallmarks into another gripping piece of work.

Green Room, hopefully the second part of a three colours crime trilogy, offers the delicious prospect of Patrick Stewart (X-Men) turning to the dark side. Stewart plays a murderous redneck in a turn that looks like having echoes of Walter White in his blank eyed sociopathy, with a group of goons in close attendance.

The set-up sees a hard-up punk band, The Ain't Rights, stop by a remote Oregon roadhouse for a spontaneous gig. Something which quickly becomes a bad idea when they discover the venue has just witnessed a blood splattering murder spree. Stewart's club owner and his gang naturally don't want any witnesses, a stance that sees the band barricade themselves in their green room desperately trying to come up with a way out or a means of fighting back.

With Anton Yelchin (Star Trek), Imogen Poots (That Awkward Moment), Alia Shawkat (Whip It), Joe Cole (Now Is Good), Macon Blair (Blue Ruin) and Callum Turner (Queen And Country) along for the carnage, Green Room lands in UK cinemas on 13 May.
