Gods Of Egypt Super Bowl TV spot arrives online

Entertainment One have recently released their Super Bowl TV spot for Alex Proyas' (Knowing) Gods Of Egypt.

Gods Of Egypt finds Gerard Butler (Olympus Has Fallen) going bad as god of darkness Set, who has usurped the throne of the country and plunged the once peaceful empire in to chaos and conflict. To stop him will require the talents of one brave mortal, thief Bek (Brenton Thwaites), who must join forces with Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), whom Set blinded ages ago, and who would be looking for a little vengeance.

But with a quest to retrieve magic objects and pass tests of courage and sacrifice (not to mention Horus spends some of the time with just the one returned eye, which means depth perception issues), can they defeat Set's dreadful henchmen and army of creatures?

Proyas has the likes of Chadwick Boseman (42), Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road), Abbey Lee (Mad Max: Fury Road), Geoffrey Rush (Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Rufus Sewell (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), and Elodie Yung (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) on board for Gods Of Egypt, which arrives in cinemas 26 February.
