As you might have guessed, this is the sequel to Andrew Stanton's Finding Nemo (2003), which swept up critical and commercial acclaim for its tale of a tiny clownfish lost in the depths of the ocean.
The new movie takes place six months after the events in Finding Nemo, with Dory happily settled and living with the marine community in the same reef as Marlin and his son. She still has issues with her memory, and when she attends one of Nemo's class trips to watch manta rays migrate home, she starts to have serious feelings of homesickness and wants to learn where her family are now.
Pixar have certainly been busy of late. After the success of Inside Out earlier this year, they are currently readying The Good Dinosaur for release, with Finding Dory send to find its way into cinemas next summer.
