New character one sheets for Youth arrive online

Fox Searchlight have recently released a batch of character one sheets for Paolo Sorrentino's (The Great Beauty) Youth.

Michael Caine's upcoming slate includes Vin Diesel's (Furious 7) The Last Witch Hunter and the sequel to Now You See Me (2013), but while he is clearly keeping busy in elder statesman roles, it looked as though Harry Brown (2009) was his final film as the lead. Happily that turned out not to be the case, since he couldn't resist Paolo Sorrentino's Youth.

"I've retired about 30 times," Caine told Empire magazine recently. "I always retire and then someone comes along with an offer you can't refuse. I wasn't going to play any more leading roles. I don't like it because you've got to get up early in the morning for eight weeks. But I just had to do Youth. It was wonderful."

Sorrentino wrote and directed the film, which involves Caine's retired orchestra conductor and composer being pulled from a trying holiday in the Alps to organise a royal performance.

Harvey Keitel (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Rachel Weisz (The Fountain), Paul Dano (Prisoners), Alex Macqueen (Cinderella) and Jane Fonda (Monster-in-Law) co-star, and Youth is out in the UK on 15 January.
