For his next film, Grimsby, Sacha Baron Cohen (The Dictator) is going to war… kind of. While this new red band trailer for the spy comedy kicks off in dementedly first person shooter fashion, it ends up somewhere else altogether.
The film sees Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service) playing Sebastian Graves, the M16 super spy whose violent mission is depicted in the trailer. Baron Cohen plays his gormless brother Nobby. The pair have been separated for many years but to Sebastian's obvious chagrin, they have been reunited. Nobby means well but he is more bushel than lantern in the smarts stakes, and his unofficial occupation – England football hooligan – is a source of embarrassment for his sibling.
Nobby lives in Grimsby with his 11 kids and girlfriend (Rebel Wilson), but what he wants most of all is to have his brother back in his life. But on his quest for a reunion he stumbles upon a terrorist plot that makes him suddenly indispensable. God help us all.
Directed by Luc Besson (Léon: The Professional) protégé Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me), Grimsby also stars Isla Fisher (Now You See Me), Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious) and Penélope Cruz (Volver).
Grimsby will land in UK cinemas on 4 March.
