Following a directorial switch and story overhaul mid production, Pixar's The Good Dinosaur – which was originally scheduled to arrive last year – is finally set to hit our screens.
The Good Dinosaur poses the question of what if the asteroid that impacted Earth all those millions of years ago never happened? What if the dinosaurs survived to live in the age of early man? And finally, what happens when a curious Apatosaurus named Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend he calls Spot (Jack Bright)? The two must join forces to journey across a harsh and mysterious landscape, with Arlo learning the power of confronting your fears.
Peter Sohn, who previously directed the short Partly Cloudy (2009) and was the movie's original co-director, has moved up to the top spot for this one, with Denise Ream (Cars 2) staying on board as producer.
With Anna Paquin (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale), Steve Zahn (Dallas Buyers Club), A.J. Buckley (Happy Feet), Sam Elliott (Up In The Air), Marcus Scribner (Black-ish) and Frances McDormand (Burn After Redaing) lending their voices to the film, The Good Dinosaur will be out in the UK on 27 November.
