Alison Brie and Gretchen Mol join The Headhunter’s Calling

With Gerard Butler (Olympus Has Fallen) already set to star in producer Mark Williams (Flawless) directorial debut The Headhunter's Calling, news now arrives via Screen International that Alison Brie (Community) and Gretchen Mol (3:10 To Yuma) have joined the ensemble.

Butler has the lead as a ruthless, hard charging corporate headhunter called Dane Jensen, who has been surging at the company he works for and is primed to snatch the top job. But then his 10-year-old son is diagnosed with cancer and Jensen's priorities take a major shift. Willem Dafoe (The Grand Budapest Hotel) is playing Butler's boss, the CEO who is planning to retire and hand the reigns to his driven employee. And Alfred Molina (An Education) will be a family focused engineer who is struggling through unemployment. Mol has signed on to play Butler's wife and Brie will be a career rival.

Producer Mark Williams is making his directorial debut with the film, written by Bill Dubuque (The Judge). Brie, most recently seen in Get Hard, has Sleeping With Other People due in the UK on 1 January. She will also be part of the cast for Joshy and How To Be Single. Mol, meanwhile, has most recently shot Kenneth Lonergan's (You Can Count On Me) latest, Manchester-By-The-Sea.
