Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, of course, follows the fallout from Man Of Steel's chaotic battles. Fearing the actions of a god like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, world weary vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern day saviour, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) going toe-to-toe, a new threat quickly arises, as Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) exploits the uncertainties about Superman for his own ends
The Comic Con panel itself was brief but fun, with one stand-out moment seeing Affleck telling a story about when he bumped into Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises) in the Batman area of a costume store, both buying suits for their kids. "Make sure you can piss in that suit..." was Bale's key piece of advice.
As well as Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Cavill returning as Clark Kent/Superman, the film also features Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6) as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa (Conan The Barbarian) as Aquaman, Jeremy Irons (Beautiful Creatures) as Alfred Pennyworth and newcomer Ray Fisher as Cyborg, alongside Man Of Steel veterans Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Snyder will also be finding screen time for Callan Mulvey (Zero Dark Thirty), Scoot McNairy, Holly Hunter (Paradise) and Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine).
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will hit screens on 25 March next year.
