Tomorrowland has been purposefully secretive from the off, which makes sense considering it is about a secret city full of secret technology and secrets generally. Now, though, as the release draws closer, more details are coming to light.
Here we are given a little more information on Casey, which goes some way to explain why she might get tangled up in the plan to save Tomorrowland. She is a curious type, a dreamer and a builder and also clearly not afraid to get in trouble if it's for the right reason.
As for Athena (Raffey Cassidy), she is still largely being kept a mystery, and in her video, she simply explains a little more about the city.
The film follows Casey Newton (Britt Robertson), a troubled young woman who is getting out of a police lock up. Included among the personal items returned to her is a mysterious pin she doesn't recognise – one that appears able to transport her to the titular world, a place where, so we're told, "nothing is impossible." Cue a quick trip to Tomorrowland, where jetpacks are possible and the futuristic landscape spun from Walt Disney's past and visions of the future.
Confused by what is happening, she seeks out the one person who might know a lot more about it, Frank Walker (George Clooney), a man known more for being a failed inventor than anything. When she turns up at his isolated house, she quickly learns he has a whole lot more than that, and that he has been waiting for someone like her.
Tomorrowland, which also stars Judy Greer (Carrie), Kathryn Hahn (The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty), Hugh Laurie (House M.D.), Pierce Gagnon (Looper) and Keegan-Michael Key (Let's Be Cops), arrives in the UK on 22 May.
