New trailer for Hyena arrives online

Film4 have recently released their latest trailer for Gerard Johnson's (Tony) Hyena.

Overseen by Mona Lisa's (1986) Stephen Woolley and his production partner Elizabeth Karlsen – as well as Number 9 Films' Jo Laurie – Hyena is a British thriller that should certainly appeal to fans of The Long Good Friday (1980), Kill List (2011), Filth (2013) and another punchy crime fare.

The story sees corrupt copper and high-functioning addict Michael Logan (Peter Ferdinando) pushed to the limit by the arrival of increasingly ruthless gangs of Albanian gangsters. We're told that, "Michael's razor sharp instincts have always kept him one step ahead, but now his increasingly self-destructive behaviour and the sheer brutality of the new gang lords find Michael in a spiralling descent of fear and self-doubt." Sounds dangerous.

The film also stars Neil Maskell and MyAnna Buring (Kill List), as well as Stephen Graham (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) and Richard Dormer (Good Vibrations).

You can see Hyena when it arrives in UK cinemas from 6 March 2015.
