Keanu Reeves considers The Panopticon

Currently enjoying box office success again thanks to vengeance thriller John Wick, Keanu Reeves (47 Ronin) is shopping around for more future film roles. News arrives via The Wrap that he is in talks to star in Tarsem Singh's (Immortals) The Panopticon.

The Uninvited's (2009) Craig Rosenberg has written the script for the action thriller, which sees an apparently ordinary man receive a weird package in the mail. It contains a pre-recorded message from himself, warning that the world is close to ending and that only he can save us all. So begins a race against time to figure out the puzzle before the clock runs out on mankind.

According to The Wrap, it's all at an early stage and there's no official deal in place. Reeves most recently finished work on Eli Roth's (Hostel) new thriller Knock Knock and courtroom drama The Whole Truth, and is busy shooting indie drama Daughter Of God. And then there's the science fiction tale Passengers, which is desperately hoping he'll one day find the time to star.
