"You got fucked by Robocop dude!"

Sony Pictures have just released their latest red band trailer for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's (This Is The End) latest directorial effort, The Interview.

James Franco is Dave Skylark, the not very bright but very popular host of celebrity tabloid TV show Skylark Tonight. When he and producer/best friend Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) learn that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a huge fan of their work, they manage to land an interview with the tyrant, seeing it as their chance to establish themselves as legitimate journalists.
But with their travel to Pyongyang booked, the CIA decides that Dave and Aaron are the best shot they have at assassinating Kim, and set about finding a way for the two least qualified men imaginable to off a world leader.

This latest trailer certainly shows more of what we can expect from the film, including Skylark figuring out what the CIA agents mean by asking him to "take out" the Korean despot and Aaron trying to conceal a vital item in a rather uncomfortable place.

With Lizzy Caplan (127 Hours), Randall Park (The Five-Year Engagement), Timothy Simons (Veep) and Diana Bang (Sorority Wars) in the cast, The Interview will hit UK screens on 6 February next year. That follows a delay for some digital polishing to remove certain elements for clearance issues.
