New stills for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 arrive online

There are just a couple of months to wait now for Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which will start to wrap up Katniss' (Jennifer Lawrence) battle against the corrupt Capitol and its despotic rule over the outlying Districts. To remind us all of that fact, Lionsgate have just released a fresh set of stills.

The first part of Mockingjay, adapted by Danny Strong from Suzanne Collins' third novel, finds Katniss and the other rebels finally taking their fight to the Capitol and its ruthless President Snow (Donald Sutherland). But the fight against the tyrannical ruler will not be an easy one, and everyone involved will have to sacrifice if the Districts are to be finally free. And to complicate matters for Katniss personally, Peeta is now a prisoner of the Capitol and is being forced to serve their propaganda purposes.

With Lawrence back as Katniss and surrounded by fellow franchise veterans Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Woody Harrelson plus franchise newcomers Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Robert Knepper (R.I.P.D.), Natalie Dormer (The Counselor), Gwendoline Christie (Game Of Thrones), Elden Henson (Deja Vu), Wes Chatham (The Help), Mahershala Ali (The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button), Evan Ross (Jeff, Who Lives At Home) and Julianne Moore (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 flies into cinemas on 21 November, followed by Part 2 on 20 November 2015.
