New TV spots for Expendables 3 arrive online

Lionsgate have just released three new TV spots for Patrick Hughes' (Red Hill) The Expendables 3, with Sylvester Stallone and his ageing action pack (plus one or two youngsters) back once again to blast bad guys, crack wise and bond over challenging missions.

The Expendables 3 finds our heroes targeted by an old friend turned vicious enemy. Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who co-founded the original core group with Stallone's Barney Ross, has since become an arms trader and decides to take out the gang. But when Barney recruits some fresh blood to help tackle the threat, the youngsters are inconveniently captured, which means the regular blend of ageing mercenaries must ride to the rescue or die trying.

Stallone this time is joined by veterans Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger, plus new recruits Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Kelsey Grammar, Mel Gibson, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey and Harrison Ford.

The Expendables 3 is set to explode onto our screens on 15 August.
