Because one sincerely insincere address is never enough for President Snow (Donald Sutherland) of The Hunger Games infamy, the malevolently benign Capitol ruler has taken to the airwaves once again, but this time there's a distinct difference.
And no, we don't mean that the glassy eyed Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) has been joined by Jena Malone's (Sucker Punch) Johanna Mason, but that is a notable shift. What's important here is that the rebels from the districts have, thanks to the technical expertise of Beetee (Jeffrey Wright), hacked the signal to announce that the Mockingjay lives. Which is to say, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is fully part of the long gestating revolution, one finally birthed in fire and fury.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Parts 1 and 2 have been filming back to back once again under the direction of Lawrence, who is now guiding the movies through post-production. Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Paula Malcomson, Willow Shields, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci will all return, alongside new arrivals Natalie Dormer (The Counselor), Gwendoline Christie (Game Of Thrones) and Julianne Moore (Crazy, Stupid, Love.).
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 lands in the UK on 21 November.
