"You're afraid. I remember."

20th Century Fox have recently released a brand new trailer and one sheet for Bryan Singer's return to the X-Men franchise, X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

This latest promo gives us our best guide to the plot yet. It also showcases bigger action scenes than any that we've previously seen and a Professor X (Patrick Stewart) voiceover that recalls the opening of the very first film.

The story this time sees Hugh Jackman's Wolverine have his consciousness sent back to his younger self, in order to attempt to change a nightmarish future where mutants are an endangered minority hunted and forced into internment camps by Bolivar Trask's (Peter Dinklage) giant robot Sentinels.. The younger Wolverine then somehow has to pull young Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) away from, respectively, self-pity and a pro-mutant crusade, and try to get them to change the course of history. Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) is at the heart of the problem, and changing her plans won't be easy.

With Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies), Ellen Page (Juno), Halle Berry (Cloud Atlas), Evan Peters (American Horror Story), Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn), Bingbing Fan (Ironman 3), Shawn Ashmore (The Ruins), Omar Sy (Micmacs), and Lucas Till (Stoker) rounding out the cast, X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits cinemas on 22 May.
