First official still for Brad Pitt tank thriller Fury

Right now, End Of Watch (2012) director David Ayer is in the film making trenches, putting Brad Pitt (Inglourious Basterds), Logan Lerman (The Perks Of Being A Wallflower), Shia LaBeouf (Lawless) and more through their paces for World War II tank thriller Fury. Already posting images from the set via his Twitter account, but now we have our first official still of the leads sitting on the titular tank.

Pitt stars as an Army sergeant named Wardaddy (we're guessing not his actual name), commanding a five-man beast of a vehicle fighting through Germany as the Nazi regime collapses in 1945. Despite its leadership crumbling, the Wehrmacht continues to be a huge threat, and the crew of the tank face some serious challenges.

Ayer is determined to make this one feel authentic, so we're sure the cast will have plenty of buddy war stories to share once they've served their time. Michael Peña (End Of Watch), Scott Eastwood (Gran Torino) and Jon Bernthal (The Ghost) are also among the cast, with Ayer directing his own script and taking aim at a 14 November 2014 release in the US. Whilst there's no word on when Fury will make it over here as yet, we're guess an early 2015 release.
